Creating an artisan parquet floor begins with a perfectly prepared foundation.
On the existing floor, we apply a specially selected subfloor of high-quality chipboard or oak mosaic. Every step that follows demands precision and expertise that can only be gained through years of experience.
De essentie van handwerk
Characteristic of artisan parquet is that each strip is laid individually. We bond and nail the solid wood pieces directly to the subfloor.
Without tongue and groove connections, space is created for creativity in patterns.
Patterns ranging from classic herringbone to sumptuous Versailles panels.
Maatwerk in materiaal
We work with more than thirty different wood species, each with their own character. From warm oak to exotic wenge, each wood species requires a specific approach.
The strips vary in width from 7 to 22 centimetres, offering endless possibilities for a unique design.
Duurzaamheid door techniek
An artisan-laid floor has unique advantages:
- The construction ensures an exceptionally quiet floor
- Due to the absence of connections, the floor can be sanded more often
- The floor is excellently suited for underfloor heating
- Damage can always be repaired locally
De finishing touch
After installation comes the crucial finishing process. We sand the floor multiple times, filling the nail holes between sanding rounds with a mixture of sanding dust and binding agent.
This ensures a flawless finish that accentuates the natural beauty of the wood.
